BARK
Description
Design Lisa Renner
Bark is one of the many triangular shawls that are very elongated in shape. It is 5 cm at the beginning and reaches approx. 23 cm at its widest point. It is well-suited as a scrap-yarn project. For example, let Color A be the consistent color and then swap out Color B with various leftovers.
The pattern is mosaic knitting in two or more colors. A stitch from the previous color remains visible throughout when switching to the next color. It looks best if there is good contrast. You can play with different types of yarn, for example, kid mohair for one of the colors and wool/merino wool for the other. Our shawl uses Kumo, a Suri alpaca from La Bien Aimée, and Silk Song from Hesselstrik.
