Get ready for a giant hug from Pure Knit & Purl! Freedom is an oversized t-shirt with plenty of positive ease. In this design, we play with simplicity to create a joyful knitting experience. FREEDOM is a pattern for lovely, relaxing knitting on large needles using simple knitting techniques. We have replaced raglan increases with 8 simple increases around the yoke. This creates 8 curved lines in the soft fabric. The neckline is worked in fine Silk Merino lace yarn. The smooth, slightly shimmering yarn creates a contrast to the thick chunky mohair yarn and gives the t-shirt its character. Pure Knit & Purl has designed Freedom as a tribute to strong women in connection with Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign.

Needles

Circular needles 4.5, 4, 3.5, 3, 2.5 mm. all 80 cm. Circular needles 7 and 8 mm, 60 cm and 80 cm. Double pointed needles 8 and 7 mm (or magic loop). 8 stitch markers.
