In Water Lilies we use the technique Assigned Pooling. Use yarn, specially dyed for this purpose. There should be two colors, a main color and a contrast color of approx. 30-40 cm / 12-16” of length of the skein. The shawl is worked in stocking sts using the main color. The flower buds are worked in the contrast color, whenever this color appears.

Needles Double pointed needles 4.0mm (US 6) + circular needles 4.0mm and 3.5mm (US 4).
Yarn Song il Palio from Hesselstrik in a custom colorway for Assigned Pooling. 80% merino wool, 20% silk. 400 meters per 100 grams. To achieve the desired pattern You must use yarn intended for Assigned Pooling. This means the yarn has a base color and an accent color.
Yarn quantity 1 skein (2 skeins) 3 skeins.
Length 90 (140) 170 cm after blocking.
